Thank you for your interest in our catering services. We look forward to being a part of your event.

Our goal is exceed your expectations by serving the freshest seasonal food, beautifully displayed, and served professionally by our highly trained staff. These guidelines will assist event planning basics.

Arranging and Reserving a Date

Even if the date or guest count of your event is only tentative, please notify our catering sales office of your event so that we can make preliminary plans to ensure a memorable occasion.

Booking/Planning an Event

Please contact the catering department at least 24 hours before the event. Some arrangements can be made by phone or e-mail, others may require an appointment. This is the time for a thorough discussion of all specifics and details. We can help you make all the necessary decisions and to determine which of our services best fit your needs. Please remember that our printed menu is only a start, we will work with you for a truly customized, unique menu to fulfill your catering needs. The office hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00PM. We are closed on some holidays.

Food and Beverage Minimum

There is a $25 food and beverage minimum for all orders.

Off site After Hours Event Guidelines

Any event after 5:00PM is considered after hours.There is a two hour staffing minimum for each event.

Payment

All catered functions must be secured by payment before they occur. We accept all major credit cards. Non-Humana related groups are required to make a deposit of 75% upon signing the catering contract and remaining balance due the day of the event. Non-Humana groups are subject to 18% gratuity and 6% sales tax for all food events. Tax exempt organizations are required to submit a copy of their exemption certificate prior to their event.

Changing/Canceling an Event

All cancellations and final changes must take place at least 24 hours before your function. If you cancel or change an event after this deadline, some of the expenses already incurred cannot be absorbed and will have to be billed.

Service Staff

To ensure that your event is a success, a catering staff will be provided for all served meals and some buffets. If additional staff is needed for your event please contact the Catering Manager. Service staff and bartenders will be required for most afterhours functions depending on menu selection.

Linen

As a standard, we provide tablecloths for all food and beverage tables. Linens for guest tables are included with full meal orders. Linens for guest tables with A La Carte orders can be provided at an additional charge. The same applies to registration tables, name tags, head tables and any additional tables that will not be directly used for food and beverage set up.

Catering Equipment (Non-Humana)

As the host of the catered event, you are responsible for the equipment we have provided for the service of your catered event. Any missing or damaged catering equipment or supplies will be charged to your account at replacement cost. For very large events, specialty equipment may need to be rented at an additional charge.

China & Glassware Charges

Our Catering Department offers eco-friendly disposable service-ware unless otherwise requested or noted. We also offer china service at an additional charge of $3.50 per person. (Not available for events outside HUB/HUM) For some events, china will need to be rented which will incur additional charges.

Floral Charges

We will be happy to order, receive and handle specific floral and decorative requests for an additional fee determined in accordance with your specific needs.

Alcohol Service/Policy

Please refer to our current menu for bar service options and charges. Bar service is not permitted to begin before 5:00PM unless a designated VP from Humana has provided written permission.

Alcohol Policy

All alcoholic beverages must be served by our personnel and consumed in designated areas. Proof of age will be required. We reserve the right to refuse service of alcoholic beverages to any person.
